Join us for a beautifully creative day of hands-on making in the fabulously creative workshop space at Stitch and Splodge in Stoke Village. This inspiring workshop runs from 10am to 4pm and is designed for a small group of just seven participants, ensuring you receive high-quality, personalised tuition throughout the day. Under expert guidance, you’ll learn the art of block printing which is a traditional technique that’s both accessible and endlessly creative. Starting with designing and printing your own bespoke fabric, you'll explore pattern, layout and colour using hand-carved printing blocks and premium-quality fabric paints. In the afternoon, you'll turn your printed fabric into a beautiful, custom-made 20cm lampshade to take home. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to expand your creative skills, this immersive workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn, create, and relax in a truly special setting. Drinks are provided throughout the day, and there will be a break for lunch with the opportunity to sit and eat your lunch in Block Park with a stunning view over Plymouth and the coast.
